Sweetness

A sestina poem, it's style caught my eye. I had to try it out.

Through the distance, this comes from Sweetness

to shower on you her heart's soaring affection

growing warmer, glowing brighter and more tender

to assure you, rich or poor, you are still her life

across the miles she would like to make you smile

in order to endure, she brings you close with poetry

 

Our love has beauty and rhythm, our love is poetry

connected artistic lines of knowledge and Sweetness

the kind tone prompts genuineness in the smile

the main theme is the sensation of loving affection

the stanzas talk of you and me, my love, in our life

A love so pure, a love so sweet, a love so tender

 

If I could always kiss your lips, a caress tender

This kiss of bliss that releases romantic poetry

A kiss like that imparts the breath of life

All coming out of your lips will be "Oh, my Sweetness!"

As we envelope each other with passionate affection

When our faces part, once more, I look at you smile

 

I forever want to feel your serene smile

that makes my heart; spongy, supple, tender

I love when you express for me your affection

When, for me you compose excellent poetry

from your secret cavern of insightful Sweetness

your happiness is the main goal of my life

 

At last, together we will live this versatile life

Achieving the visionary dream of an eternal smile

For years, I await to be officially yours Sweetness

Hold me, for to you my heart I will gently tender

Though my words may not be a rhyming poetry

they are a pure expression of my earnest affection

 

When your deep voice is loaded with affection

as one, we can escape from this often harsh life

our hands clasped, we intertwine in silent poetry

eyes closed, we are aware of the invisible smile

ascending out of this world, in a way so tender

like soft flowing music, filled with Sweetness

 

With us is extreme affection, the heart of our external smile

I cannot resist one thing in this life- your love that is tender
