We took off on the first day
day of a cool handsomely May
May you please ask me to stay
stay to extinguish any dismay
dismay should not come our way
way of love will always pay
pay day is forever- love cant fray
fray hate, love mould as clay
clay to a potter who doesn't play
play the music, lets dance away
away we will go without delay
delay might cost us space in Love-bay
Love-bay where we'll foundation lay
lay in enough passion as we pray
pray that we will never stray
stray if we do life will turn gray
gray days lack you my ray
ray that came in lovely May

I like the structure you've used here - I've never written anything like this - I got a couple of ideas reading this! I like how the whole thing holds together while still adhering to the pattern. This is a beautiful poem!
