A Nicer Place

A Nicer Place

A Poem by Sophster300

A Nicer Place

The trees were trimmed

The lawn was mowed

The happiness in people, was strongly shown

The flowers were planted

The fruit was picked

The decency of neighbours suddenly clicked

People were nice and had a friendly approach

The garden was celebrated, with a warm hearted toast

The bins were kicked

The gates knocked down

These sorts of things made the people frown

The windows were smashed

The cars were nicked

These are the things that cause a conflict

Between youth and mature

These battles are fought

Of what was once beauty

Is of now unsure.

Will these nasty battles, carry on forevermore?

How can us people try to ensure

A world full of peace and friendliness, not war

Only time can tell

Don't make life hell

Be nice to each-other

And make the world better.
