The White Horse

The White Horse

A Poem by Sophster300

As He leaps and overlaps many

The white horse makes it to the shore

But then he stumbles

And is unforgivingly washed to the start of another race

As He leaps and overlaps many

The white horse scrambles up the sand

But then he slips

And is yet again dragged to the starting point

To try once more.

Oh how often we
Find ourselves
In such a place
As the handsome White Horse
Brilliant

Such futility
The white horse struggles to start
And to start again.
