New Shoes

New Shoes

A Poem by Sophster300

As their souls wear away and the elastic snaps

The leather sides begin to collapse.

The Shoe is becoming worn away.

I will have to get some more today.

Off to the shoe shops in the car

I'm looking for ones that are quite bizarre.

Maybe fluffy 12 inch stilettos

Just as long as they don’t make me squish up my toes.

As I enter a world full of shoes

There are so many for me to choose.

Pink ones green ones blue ones red ones

Gladiator sandals, just like the Romans!

I am finding it quite hard to decide

I want ones that are suitable to wear outside.

I’ve found some that I suppose I quite like

And they would be quite good for riding my bike.

They’re pink and green, covered in glitter

And decorated with a pretty blue flower.

Girly and dainty, pretty and comfy

I just really do hope that they’re not faulty!

I like it, It could flow a little better, but it is still a good poem. Try adding certain punctuation to a just the flow.
