You and I

You and I

A Poem by Sonia Aurelio

speak guidance

hold you steady

purpose absorbed

liquefied language

vessel carries

merged thoughts

with starchy fingers

soak bathe puddles

of contemplation

possessive endurance

hindering layers

strong stiff

bristle barrier

hidden remnants

of creations

tips clench

last words

splash dab

stroke drag

thoughts pulse

through

release receive

sing emotion

no separation

between

You and I
