Annoyance in the Library

Annoyance in the Library

A Poem by Sonia Aurelio

Why do you scrape an ink filled pen as if it’s dry?

Do you feel you will miss a spot and die?

Where sound should halt and cease to exist in my world

There you are

All orange and new

Scrapping away

Soaking

Causing nature to bleed blood orange

You are unaware that you have disrupted my silence

And ruined everything

You trace each equation filled box and fill it with crassness

Continuing to flip the page and repeat this nerve-racking tactic.

I like this.
You've taken something that, on a scale of worldly problems, this one would be low... and made it the center to the universe of irritation. And I can relate! Not to the pen. Just something simple that just gets to you.
The flow of this piece is excellent and the content is consistent throughout.
keep writing!
