Can't Take My Drug, Can't Quit

Can't Take My Drug, Can't Quit

A Poem by Sonya Elizabeth B.
"

I don't really say much about poetry. All I can say is, its about a guy, not real drugs.

"

Its obvious, I won't act at school as I do at home...
And that, I wont act at home, as a I do at a friends,
When I'm at a freinds, and I feel Welcomed,
My True colors Begin To show.
When I'm with a Friend, Its the Closest I can get to home.

But What happens When True Colors begin to Show?
A smile turns to a laugh
  A laugh to a friendship
  A friendship to a feeling,
  A feeling to a thought,
  A thought to an action,
  An action to kiss,
All from Feeling at Home in a Friends Shelter

What happens...
When you never liked or wanted him?
When you allways thought he was a jerk?
When he helps you, and your preconived judgements are wrong?
When you look into his eyes every chance you get?
    When you despise this feeling?
    When You hate this Thought?

And Somehow No One Can See,
   He is your Soilder,
   Your Fighter,
   The Drug,
   The Habbit,
   The Addiction,
   The One Thing,
You Never tried, but You can't quit...

Just keep wishing,
  Thats what happens,
  You keep wishing,
   Hoping,
   Wanting and Needing,
And Don't tell Anyone,
Or they'll take away your drug.
