Cupid Hits

A Poem by Sonya Elizabeth B.
"

This song was inspired by a very close friend of mine. Whom her whole life only longged for love and compaionship, whom never lowered her standards. Said friend, fell in love, with a man whom had very low moral standards and almost no integrity. He left h

"

Verse 1
When I was young,
I fell in love,
He was everything I had ever asked for,
We hadn't spoken for years,
Now were older,
I thought I was through,
But know, he loves a gurl...
and I love him....

Chorus 1
Catch the Arrow,
Man the Ships,
I think were sinking again,
heals over head,
heart over mind

Verse 2
Cupids arrow hits,
I'm blind, I'm stupid, but he's it,
Dark skin, and beautiful eyes,
The one's I once new, they were my sky's,
But when he was far, I couldn't bare,
The way he looked at me, the way he stared,

Chorus 2
Catch the Arrow,
Man The Ships,
I think were sinking again,
Heals over head,
Heart over mind,

Verse 3
But away,
He had to stay,
So, I said my peice and turned the other way,
I love him dear,
And every time I hear,
That song in his voice, I get carried away again,
Nothing matters, but being with you,
Then I find out, you have someone new,

Chorus 3
Catch the Arrow,
Man The Ships,
I think were sinking again,
Closed eyes,
And a Blind Shot,
C'uz we all know,

Verse 4
Cupids arrow is blind,
Cupids arrow it'll bind,
Bind me to you, in a lost state of unreturned love,
And Remembernce of promises,
When we were young and in love...

Author's Note

Sonya Elizabeth B.
Peronally, lyrics are a form of poetry, therefore, grammar will not be as proper as in an essay.
I cannot downloader the spell checker.
Other than, just some ideas to think about.
How would you intrepret my song?
Does it feel meaningful?
Would this be better as a diffrent form of writing?
Is there anything I could do to make my lyrics better?
Any parts that do not make sence? Why or why not?
Of course, these are only suggestions, you can ask questions, comment, or critique on any criteria you see fit. Thank you for your Time.
