Winter Of The Heart
A Poem by Scarlet Letter
(Haiku) The heart is empty as the winter's frost comes
I feel nothing now A barren, empty wasteland Darkness covers me.

You manage to bring across the emotions - or the lack of such - very well in those few lines. I think the form supports the feeling, that because it's a haiku, you can convey that there is "nothing" better than you would, perhaps, if you wrote more. It is possible to write a lot about nothing, but it makes more sense to write little, as you did, and leave that to sink in. That works very well here, well done!

About
I love art of all forms. The types I practice are writing, charcoal/oil pastels, music, photography, and more. Every time I look at something I see if it would be best as a picture, drawing, poem, or .. more..
