The Barrette

The Barrette

A Poem by Scarlet Letter
"

A poem about a barrette I made with beads for a girl's birthday present

"

The stitches may not be in line,

A little wave’s alright.

No one could even think to whine,

About the odd bead height.

For there is something more important

Than colors, lines, or strings,

It is the thought behind the act,

The love that this gift brings.
