JudgementA Poem by Scarlet LetterHow I see the world right now..
Morals
Integrity Honor Chastity These words are as worthless As the ideals they hold Mocked for beliefs Tolerance is the code Turn a blind eye As decency And virtues Are trampled in the dust Lust Greed Hate Sloth Rage Adultering, whoring, wretched people That's is the legacy we leave our children Yet we wonder... Why the pain? World hunger? Human trafficking? Hatred? The "we all want world peace" Yet we would kill our brother If his pedestal was higher than our own Sodom and Gommorah Look peaceful compared to the filthy hovel we have created for ourselves Innocence is lost Born with "human nature" The seed of evil planted day one Children murdered by Lunatics, molesters, parents Still born Unborn Abort Murder Death Shame Misery Restlessness Despair That is all that is left That is what our children inherit The right to do whatever they want, whenever they want, without consequence Judgement day will come And we will be held accountable For the actions of ourselves As well as our children Because they just mimic our own actions The hearts of men are blackened Until all that's left is a withering husk Wanting Searching Needing something more Paying to their gods Money Fame Power Trying to buy happiness Ignorant that they are being sucked in to the black oblivion That it was all for nothing Wasting their days Trying to cheat death for another day Not realizing they are killing themselves slowly Until hell's fire engulfs their souls And tortures their bodies For all eternity © 2013 Scarlet LetterAuthor's Note
