Screams of a Broken Heart

Screams of a Broken Heart

A Poem by Song Bird

Screams of my broken heart

Echo in my head

Every love letter yelling underneath my bed

My heart is cracking, shaking

While my head is maddening and teeth are grating

Breathing harder until I'm dizzy and numb

Until my heart is wasted and done

Laying back eyes glazed

Hoping for loves sweet golden rays

To bring back the sweeter days

Where there were no more hard days

And my heart would sigh

And his heart would beat against my breast

But no more and my heart is now at unrest
