Three Girls and a Boy

Three Girls and a Boy

A Poem by Song of Mercy
"

A simple poem about the different lives that my children have lived while I have been growing up.

"

She chose to succeed
She’s been down a road that is hard
She has much she needs
She’s had a life that’s left her scarred

She has a good heart.
She’s not perfect, yet she is kind.
She is also smart,
She’s wise and listens, her mind’s bright.

He is also bright
He’s often misunderstood
He is my loved knight
He’s sacrificing, and he’s good

She loves her best friends
She’s not had it hard
She likes to go with the new trends
She’s never been scarred

They choose to succeed
They’re not perfect, they rise above.
They ‘oft do good deeds
They’re my children, they are much loved.

Song of Mercy
This is one of my first poems. I am generally weak with meter and foot. Suggestions will be both considered and appreciated.
