DestinyA Poem by Sonakshi AroraYou are the writer of your own future...
A funny way of reasoning our faults
Is to blame it on a thing called fate We also like to call it our destiny To console our grief and sorrowed-state "It was always written by god" We chant when things go wrong Because fate is something always planned And future has been written for long And this had been my belief for some time Until I was laughed upon and told Your actions and your doings determine The brightness of the life you hold We are the writers of our destiny We are the ones who plan our fate And to write the story is equal to Choosing between hell and heaven's gate So write a story , a Pulitzer one That shows a meaning, and a path to see For then the world shall know by: "The one who wrote her destiny." © 2018 Sonakshi AroraAuthor's Note
