Towers

Towers

A Poem by Sonakshi Arora
"

It's all up there...

"
I'm locked up in a tower
In the west wing's highest floor
It's held me captive for years now
And I hold no keys to its door
It gives rise to abhorrent thoughts
This haunted place gives me the creeps
I hear eerie sounds all day long
The possessed place doesn't let me sleep
I can't let my hair down for help
Or make a wish to floating balloons
Neither can I think of a Flynn Rider
To get me out of this building soon
No one can rescue me from here
I'll be stuck in here forever, I dread
For this isn't a place you can see
It's a tower inside my head

Amazing, I liked how you made the readers think of the fairytale and drew a contrast between it and reality.
