It's a day of gold and grey
To celebrate the victories
Of children who let down their armour
And give way to new trajectories

It's time to celebrate childhood cancer
And honour the children of today
So put on your best outfit and your shoes
It's time to go gold and grey

Childhood cancer isn't an easy feat
For it takes a lot of strength and courage
To conquer it ,to overcome and beat
It's a monster filled with burning rage

Today as I choose to be a voice
For kids who are pioneers to new ways
I choose to stand up for them
I choose to go gold and grey
