A Throw-Away Society

And when people tend to throw away you, remember that you were a candle to their darkness

I'd get jealous when you'd walk with her
And don't pay attention to me
I'd hate when you'd charm others
And make everyone happy
And yet if you need something
You'd always look for around
And that is what makes me sad
Because you are deaf to my sounds
And when I'd tell you I need help
You'd leave me there to rust
But during your most abysmal days
I was the one you'd only trust
And then one fine day
You heard a 'crack' subside
And I was so longing to tell you that
It was my heart that broke inside.
