Attention Seekers

Sometimes attention seekers are just humans asking for help because they went unnoticed.

Every time I told you I was sick
I was screaming for help
And yet you stood there and only mimicked
And told me I was such an attention seeker
Every time I told you about my insecurities
You told me I was being a baby
And that my stories wouldn't bother you
And all you told me to do was be me
Then you asked why I was so numb
Every subtle hint I gave you was thrown
I stopped talking to you for you made me sad
And now I have learnt my lesson and grown
