I have always loved you

Here is a piece I wrote about love. We all love someone who may not love us back.

My heart starts pounding when you're around
My inner nightingale wants to burst aloud
Your appealing beauty and soft sound
Make my feelings very profound

Your touch and words make hearts bleed
And your arrogance makes me love you for sure
But this attitude is what you feed
But still I find your heart to be raw and pure

My conscience says you won't accept me
So without saying much I bid adieu
I just want to say I love you very much but
You won't love me like I do
