The Onset of SpringA Poem by Sonakshi AroraLet us welcome spring with full zeal and zest!
The lifeless leaves are born again
And the monotonous darkness has died The flowers bloom leaving behind their pain My conscience tell me that spring has arrived For my eyes have lost their sight And I cannot witness the plush ground But my senses tell me that nature's light Has touched all around I can smell the fragrance of marigold And feel the stinging cold subside And I can hear my grandson being told That spring has now arrived © 2017 Sonakshi AroraAuthor's Note
