A Poem by athena

          WASTEFUL WILT

I saw it in the morn

When the sun was born

I saw you in my pathway

On my market way

Lovely lily flower!

Blooming with purple

Dazzling with mirth

With the breath of mint

Red are your lips

Burning for the kiss of bliss

With glaring glee

I will pluck you

On my way back

From my parting path

Ah! Like gun shot in air

Like mist from sun’s kiss

You are gone

Gone, gone  away ………………………

A wasteful wilt

Withering unplucked
