Nature's Pull

Nature's Pull

A Poem by SomeSteve
"

Love

"

Warm waves splash,

a smile reaches shore.

Drowning in the bliss

air seems...

overrated.

Let's go off

Off the deep end

Together

A dragonfly roams

in nature's garden.

It's allure magnetic.

It's capture inconceivable.

Amongst the pheromones

of blooming orchids,

and the heart's

submerged feelings,

rumbles on the Richter,

scale upward.

An eruption is

long overdue.

Rays of sunset shine

The sky lit to a perfect plum

Yet the sands of Maui

Have no appeal

Without you, the perfect somebody.

Tear it apart. I tried to be pretty vague on this one so I'm curious how it turned out.

I liked the end a lot. Unfortunately, I didn't recognize some of the big words. Which I'm jealous by actually! I wish I could throw out big words and have them mean something! :) Nice job, I'll go get a dictionary and you keep writing! :)

Since I was a kid I've dabbled in many forms of creative writing but I always come back home to poetry. The topics vary but there's a lot of relationship, love stuff as well as a little randomness.. more..
