But Rather As The Hymns of My Breath.

But Rather As The Hymns of My Breath.

A Poem by Someshwar Gurumath
"

I do not wish to reveal the sense of poem through description

"
Can I see you once more?
As eagerly as the sun's rays,
Await's a day,
To see the beauty of the earth.

Can I feel you again?
Like the land begins to smell,
After being washed,
By the cloud droplets.

May I remain with you?
As the morning snow,
Gently melts,
On flower petal surfaces.

Can I assist you?
As the bee aids the flower,
In understanding the self,
And recognizing the honey within.

No worries, I know you,
Beyond the perception of the body,
Who exists in every aspect of the cosmos,
Being the creator of life.

Yes, I do see you
Not as the universe,
or as a panacea for all problems
But rather as the hymns of my breath.

The closing line of this poem is really beauty. The words preceding are but a prelude to the hymn of heaven. Well penned.
