Just a poem .

The emptiness is killing me,

I feel so out of place,

I miss talking to you,

and the things you'd say.

The words I said lurk in my mind,

I regret saying them everyday,

I wish I could take them back,

or at least told you to stay.

You kept me together,

even when I didn't know,

I thought I didn't need you,

When really...I couldn't be more wrong.

I refused to put my guard down,

and that caused a fuss,

I told you to go away,

that we shouldn't speak, I didn't trust.

But now hun, oh how I see,

that you were always there for me,

never were you gone, you always talked to me,

your love was so strong, I was so weak.

I shouldn't have pushed you away,

I regret it to this day,

my words were stupid,

I'm sorry, okay?

Three months have gone by,

and I'm waitintg for you,

I shouldn't have pushed you away.

I should have thought it through.

This is a great poem as it says how the subject in the poem has regrets for pushing their significant other away. A place that I can whole-heartedly relate to at this exact point. Why did you think it's not your best?
