Something I didn't want to do again...

Something I didn't want to do again...

A Poem by Somer
"

I'm nearing the end.....

"
As the tears drip down my face,
I hold my hand out,
ready to face,
that I'm going to fail,
the task I said I wouldn't break,
this is the final draw,
I'm nearing the end,
something I said I wouldn't do again.

Your small poems are always your most powerful..... The fear of failure is always a present thing in a persons life. One must always remember that their is no such thing as failure unless YOU percieve something as a failure. the dictates of society are always painting a picture os what success is supossed to be..most of the time its inaccurate, True Success is not measured by popularity or money, but by the fulfillment and joy and satisfaction one has for a job well done!!!! this as always is an excellent poem and it has all the things I come to expect from you. Truly you are a SUCCESS!!!!!!

Short and to the point. Perfect and I like the reader is to figure out what was said that the writer was referring to. Mysterious.......

It's strange that when you feel like a complete f**k-up, it doesn't matter how many times you tell yourself you'll never fail again as it seems to happen, no matter what. This is why I am thankful my high school years are over so I don't have to feel like my life is over when I fail at things. Growing up teaches you that it happens but you have to get over it... and you learn to realize, you'll do it again and in the end, you aren't bothered by it.

But! I agree Stephen... your short poems definitely bring more power! I love a poet that can use a few lines to get their point across and still have that powerful emotion built behind it. Kudos!
