My Wisteria

My Wisteria

A Poem by Somebrownnerd

Your roots propagate natures injustice;
Sucking syrupy nectar, strangling soil.

Lavender bursts among you,
deceiving this onlooking witness;
A delusional polka dot paradise.
Varicose vines, seep through your foliage,
en-snarling my razor fingers.

Though your grip is viced, I own you.

Tyrannical reign of terrain,
comes to an end.
