Moon Magnetics

From the balcony of a condo in panama city, panama i was observing a couple on the beach. This was my observation.

The moon settles, leaving the clouds,

from the cosmos its strength endowed.

As the rays of pearl kiss the beach,

glimmering tides clasp to its leash.

The magnetics of iridescent, and illogical souls

threaten to tear away.

Leaving just the sand, water, and wake; Such beautiful molds.

To new futures they seem to sway.

Truly lovely poem with absolutely beautiful imagery. I love how you can convey so much in so few words. The beauty of a tropical night, sensless, irrational love that's swept up in beauty. Nice work!

Thank you Mickey, I am glad you enjoyed it. They were a young couple and it was 2:30 in the morning, very illogical, very irrational, but very romantic. Witnessing it was inspiring.

Wow, this is beautiful. And yes I agree if only you could share this with the couple who was on the beach. Where we get our muses from. Sometimes it happens in a mere split second, and you have an incredible piece such as this. Honestly I really have nothing I would change about this. It is breathtaking, and it took me directly to where you were standing there on your balcony. Beautiful!

Thanks for the review! Usually when I'm writing my poems I'm in a public place just people watching; I started doing it when i was a kid, thus my obsession with psychology; So most of poem's are about other people. A good example is my poem the "A man with no eyes", i just struck up a conversation with an older blind gentlemen in a starbucks, after he had asked me to grab his coffee from the barista. I asked him how he lost his sight, he said he was drunk behind the wheel and crashed into the pillar of an overpass, he lost he's wife in the wreck (inspiring the line "A tactile paradise, he longs for so much; that porcelain surface.) Again thank you for the review, sorry if i was a bit long winded in my reply; I feel blessed when people take the time to comment.

Thank you, for the review! Other people are great inspiration, i wish i read more poems describing someone's take on another person's situation. Sorry that i haven't reviewed your poems, i tried, but couldn't find anything to really critique about them; I don' want to make comment that isn't deep or informative enough to communicate exactly how i feel, I'll try giving it shot though.
