Lets DanceA Poem by Some JohnYour frame locked At the ready Your skills honed Burr aligned Cold in my hand Frozen steady Not a waltz Nor a quick step How about a tango With its heated passion I will be able to forget I will hold you tight Pressing you against my skin You bring forth my color As soon as we begin We dance across tendons Numbing each finger Every time you sway past Crimson surges with every beat Maybe the next will be my last Euphoric feelings dizzy me Now I'm drifting peacefully Into a darkened trance Before I'm gone indefinitely I'd like to thank my blade For giving me this one last dance © 2012 Some JohnReviews
