I Painted You Last Night

I Painted You Last Night

A Poem by Some John

Deep in my darkness
Surrounded by light
My demons awoke
Looking to fight

My booth so quiet
Just airbrush hissing
My demons and I
Slowly reminiscing

Remembering the days
Each entered my life
From the bully in school
And you my cheating wife

I started with white
Over a dull black base
I drew in an outline
Of your angelic face

A monochromatic
Vision of you
With more details
True colors show through

I pulled out highlights
Pushed shadows cast
A three demented view
Into my haunted past

I detailed your eyes
Followed with your hair
Thought about our love
Before your affair

My demons remind me
And kept me from swaying
Show her true soul
Not the one she's portraying

So with fire in your eyes
To your sinister grin
Your cold black heart
That burn me within

I pictured this monster
Executed it well
Thanks for the inspiration
Now get back into HELL

Good description led reader to a very good ending. Sometime we can trick our minds about someone and then the real vision appeared and we can see the true vision. No weakness in the outstanding poetry.
