Inanimate gestures

A Poem by SomeOwl
"

Something that sparked a burst of creativity. E1.

"
The silver bounds that see no end
Question all the thoughts
battling my head
The amethyst staring back
Echoing the questioned
Cutting deeper wounding and pleasing
The glimmer now in rust
But is that what I trust?

The chains growing
Linking each oval link, one by one
The heart infinite
Turning and intertwining
The turn kept it almost parallel
Fallen comrades that fought so well
Maybe they are what should keep
this spell
