Red Hot

Red Hot

A Poem by Somber Eyes

Take me, take me now, as I am
I don't want to give myself to another man
Wrap me up, wrap me tightly in your arms
Hold me close, hold me close, and protect me from harm

Kiss me as if it were for the last time
Kiss me and let me know your heart is on the line
Don't hold back, let me feel it, let your passion flow
Fill me with happiness, give me that tell-tale glow

Who knows how much time we will have together
It may end tomorrow or it may last forever
So don't hold back, thinking to yourself that we have got the time
You've got to live in the moment, you've got to lay it all on the line

You are the best friend that I've ever had
You cheer me up, make me laugh, when I'm feeling sad
And you always know exactly what to say
To get me to see things in a different way

I've known you forever and you've gained my trust
Now let's stop thinking of you and me and start thinking of us
I can see in your eyes that you feel the same
Life is short, so let's not waste time playing stupid games

Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow
It may be filled with happiness, or it may be filled with sorrow
Just in case it turns out bad, let's make the most of tonight
So that if something happens, we'll still have a memory to treasure for the rest of our lives

Take me now, I'm giving all of myself to you
Look into your heart, it will tell you what to do
Put your arms around me and hold me so tight
I know that this is love because it feels so right

Don't say another word, just hold on to me
Mold your body to my own, let me feel true intimacy
Kiss me once, kiss me twice, don't ever stop
Just give in to our passion as it's burning red hot
