Let The Silence Speak

Let The Silence Speak

A Poem by Somber Eyes

I think of you all day long and every night

Like a diamond in the mine, you shine so bright

Pictures of you flash through my head, such a lovely sight

I know that this is wrong, but it feels so right

Why do I still think about it when I know just what you'll say?

You are my fantasy every night and every day

I wish I could tell you how I feel, but I'm too weak

I've been hurt before,

don't want to hurt again,

and so I let the silence speak.
