Mr. Money Man

Mr. Money Man

A Poem by Somber Eyes

Hey there, Mr. Money Man

Why don't you bring that money this way?

I said hey there, Mr. Money Man

Why don't you share some of that wealth today?

Because you can't take it with you

Can't take it with you

To the grave

Oh you can try, you can try, you can try as you may

But you still can't take it with you

You can try, you can try 'til you're blue in the face

But you still can't take it with you

You can kick and scream and curse my name

And you can even put me in my own grave

But that won't change one simple fact

You can't take it with you

So why don't you just give it back?
