A Wandering SoulA Poem by Soma-koForgotten, like a memory.Lost within a
dream was he, Or was it reality, something he couldn’t
clearly see. He felt around in
the darkness’ stomach, An incessant pit
that had no end. Nothing was in
sight, Not his hands nor
his thoughts. An endless maze, That had no walls. All he could do
was take a step, and then later another, Or at least that’s
what he thought he did, For he could not
feel his legs, nor could he shudder. Was he falling or
floating? A thought that drifted through the air. Did he have hands
to feel with? A body to boot? Was he moving
backwards or forwards? His mind, he began
to lose. Insanity or
sanity, A line between
them was smudged. He did not care
anymore, Nor did he feel
hate or love. A wandering soul
was he, So lost and forgotten. Moving between
life and death, His soul was
begotten by no one. No one cared for
him, No one really even
remembered him, But me. © 2013 Soma-ko |
