Exterior ShellA Poem by Soma-koSometimes we forget who we are, because we live as someone else.A pearl, Covered with layer
of gold. So no one really
knew her, No one could ever
really know. They loved her for
her value, The lovely lustrous
gold. But not a single
one knew, What she really withhold. So on with her
life she went, Living as gold. With not a friend
who knew pearl, Not a single soul. Soon pearl was
lost, Not sure who she
really was. Began living as gold, Unsure what the
future foretold. © 2013 Soma-koAuthor's Note
