Life

I wrote this and read it and a funeral today. It was for my mother's friend's mother's funeral.

HE Said, "Let there be Light,"
and Life was born on Earth. 
The sun and the moon took turns 
illuminating the land
For six days, GOD commanded
and different forms of life were granted.

What is known as Water, animals, plants, wildlife, 
and little creepy things 
were created from HIS Command.

But with us, 
HE Sculptured 
in HIS Image. 
An Image that never dies 
but is replenished through 
different forms of Life.

What dies on this side
lives forevermore 
There's just no more pain 
and sorrow on this side of the world
once our Spirits move on

We may grieve
but still MUST believe 
Life lives on

Through our memories
our recollection, our stories

Through our Love of our loved ones 
Life lives on
THEN
it will be our turn
to leave this Earth 
and to be mourned 
To move 
onto another form of existence.

Life is action 
Life is active
Life MOVES ON     

We are of GOD and HE is
That which lives

HE Commanded that there be Light 
even told what became water, animals, plants, wildlife, and little creepy things to be
But HE created us in HIS Likeness 
of forever 
so we will forever live on.

Good write! Keep it up! One thing that does bother me though, and sorry for being like OCD but its just grammatical things like were needing an apostrophe. I do the same thing A LOT so I hope this doesnt come off as rude. Anyways, great job!
