Subliminally Sublime

Soft waves lap at my feet...

How did you get under my skin?
Into my soul, to my within.
Hear the whispers that went unsaid,
You swam beneath, to my sea bed.

You saw the sighs that scurried by.
You felt the tears I never cried.
I ebbed and you flowed singing soft lullabies
To appease my screaming soul.

And now the goddess sleeps in your lap,
Atoned and appeased with the peace she lacked.
Subliminally sublimed and afloat in the ship
Of our relation, I love you for this.

Adrift in the pull of the undertow
Into the pools of my eyes, that's where you flow
Of my mouth beckon words divine
I love you for you are subliminally sublime.
