To Beat Again

Of the frailties within us all

We are unique yet human
Our frailties are what make us beautiful
I see such magic there
We feel, we evolve
Mercurial, we are love. 
And I saw a song bird there
Face forward toward the sun
She sat alone upon a peak
She sang of harmony
She sang of one
She prayed for us all
That we may become
The greatest

That we could be
To rise above the storm
To glisten in the majesty

Of the sun
Of the one

Bathed in love
And warmed to the core
To those in pain, she asked for more
Patience...
To those lost and bewildered
She asked for light
The world rolled once

Then it rolled twice

A new day had been born
Yet she kept on praying

For greatness
She prayed for one

As she prayed for all
A lone man heard her call
His ears pricked up and all at once
To the sound of a new beginning
A spark was lit inside his soul
And his heart began
To beat again
