Mirror Mirror, Now I SeeA Poem by T.A.RogersMirror Mirror, Now I SeeIn the mirror I see a face Uncouth, but shaven and kempt. Broken into different worlds By time’s long extent. In the mirror I see a place Where sorrow does reside. Pain covers not its face Behind weary eyes. In the mirror I see a truth That time washes not away, That pain does not dismantle Nor can it displace. In the mirror I see many a broken world That many an emotion has formed. Through these worlds pain takes hold And makes this face feel forlorn. ©T.A.Rogers 20041115
