Lonesome Stranger

Lonesome Stranger

A Poem by T.A.Rogers
"

Lonesome Stranger

"

Unshaken on the beams of reality

Rides a lone stranger.

It seems so sad to see him

In such lonesome anger.

Comfort him she shall

But to no avail and no avow.

On rides this lonesome stranger.

-Still now is this lonesome stranger

With comfort not on his brow.

It seems so sad to see him

In such lonesome anger.

Comfort comes to no avail and no avow.

Comfort him she shall

But to no avail and no avow,

Then on rides this lonesome stranger.

-She spends years with this lonesome stranger.

And comfort comes not with the dawn.

He spends his nights in such lonesome anger

And with daybreak still he rides on.

But comfort him she shall

But to no avail and no avow

And on rides this lonesome stranger.

-On rides this lonesome stranger

With comfort not on his brow.

He wanders in such lonesome anger

And comfort his heart wont allow.

But comfort him she shall

But to no avail and no avow

And on rides this lonesome stranger.

-At peace now is this lonesome stranger

With tranquility now on his brow.

At peace is his lonesome anger,

Tranquil rest as his last vow.

At rest is he now,

His content slumber does avow

The last ride of this lonesome stranger.
