No Man's Land

No Man's Land

A Poem by T.A.Rogers
"

No Man's Land

"

Carried up on wings again,
Back to the place where no man's been.

I sit and  I weep and I cry alone

Waiting for someone to carry me home.

As I lie here alone

Hoping for a stranger to carry me home,
Back in a place where no man's been,
Here I find myself again.

In a place that has no end,
No boundaries, No finishes, No wheres or whens

In a place of infinite stillness for eternity true,
All the time I'm searching here for you,

Waiting for you to take me by the hand,
But that’s only a dream,

Because I'm still lost in no-man's land.

Still lost in no-man's land,
Sinking slowly into the sand,
Searching through what dreams may come,
Please, Have some peace then give me some.

All the while wanting to be taken by the hand,
To be led out of this no-man's land.
To be  taken back to the real world once more,
The key wont turn so I rattle the door.

Let me show you what the sinking Sands of Time can't bury.

The emotion of our soul and the hurt on our brow.

Every time I find myself here

I think alone and shed my tears,
Back in the place where no man's been.

Back to this place time and time again.

No laughter or anger or even malice is found here,

Emotions you can neither see nor hear.

As time stands still time and again.
I'm all the while wanting to take you by the hand.
But it is only a dream,

Because I'm still lost in no-man's land.
