When I looked deep into your eyes

I thought I was in a dream.

I'd had a deep longing, a wanting for this

Because I knew what it would mean.

 

It would mean love so true

And a devotion so swift to take hold.

I know you had pulled me into the sanctity

Of your warm heart from the deep and icy cold.

 

Just one deep look into your eyes

And that’s all it took for me

To fall deep into your heart and soul

So happy and so free.

 

You pulled me from this ghostly world

When no one else could

And you loved me so deeply and so tenderly

 just like I had prayed you would.

 

As I look into the night sky

At the beautiful stars so high above

I just can't help to stop and think about

Looking into your starry eyes and feeling your love.

 

I just can't help to think about

How strong our love has grown.

How it all started that glorious day

that I finally made you my own.

 

How our love has soared so high

Like a sparrow on its wings.

I pray that one day I'll have the chance

To place on your finger a diamond ring.

 

For a diamond is for forever

And also a circle, that is true.

All because forever I'll love you

And forever I want to spend with you!
