Corrupted Sovereign

Corrupted mind of the flesh,

Why do you deceive me so?

Telling me that I should stay

When I should surely go.

 

Corrupted Heart of the soul,

Why must you let me hurt?

Keeping me around for so long

Only to hear what hurts?

 

Corrupted veins that flow my blood

Why must you let me feel?

Feeling only pain and sorrow

But never letting me be still.

 

Corrupted soul of the light

Why cant I fade away?

Disappear into nothing

And never see another day.

 

Fade me away into nothing;

Tear my mind from its reality

My corrupted heart beats

but my eyes cannot see.

 

Corrupted mind of the flesh

Visions dance before my eyes

But still i cannot find my way

And still i am not wise

 

Corrupted heart of the soul

Feelings cannot pass

Ropes of  hated solitude

Bind me to the last

 

Corrupted veins that flow my blood

Carry not my love to its final place

Only emptiness i can feel

Only emptiness and disgrace

 

Corrupted soul of the light

Please take me home

Fade me away into nothing

For always am i alone.

 

My corrupted sovereign

Master i am my own

Bring me nothing unto my heart

All I desire is warmth.
