Once TameA Poem by T.A.RogersOnce Tame
Setting the night afire, Within a warm blaze of beauty. Outward, a bold shine of innocence. She scents the wind with desire.
Childlike, penetant, just, All must earn her love. Tried with fire and brimstone, All pass through Hell to earn her trust.
Once shattered was her heart. Once a tamed soul. Broken was a wild spirit. But tamed now only in part.
Now searching, looking, praying, Though she really looks for noone. She rides the clouds to tame the wild wind That sets the pillars of her life to swaying.
Then the wind whispers her name, Softly, though with power. It kisses her neck softly, fingers entwined in her hair. And the warm wind whispers her name.
