FeminaziA Poem by Jerusalem Cricket
I don't need feminism
Because I choose not to be afraid. of ANYONE. Because I refuse special treatment. I will not play this elementary game "Girls rule, boys drool." Not all men are pigs. Not all women are royalty. (or even worth respecting.) One day I'd like to be married & like a 1950s housewife, Because I'm a nuturer. I'm a loving lady. I like being pretty. The kitchen is a sanctuary. I enjoy clean neatness. I refuse to mislabel this misandry, as the advancement of my gender. You know that thing, where if you have to go around bragging & being loud about something, you're probably bullshitting? Smart respectable women understand there are unequitable differences. I have no desire to try and pee standing up. But intellectually speaking, I could give any man a good run. & I don't need to freely menstruate and burn bras with a pack of vegan lesbian she-dogs to remind myself. It's funny how those who claim to think forward turn out to be the most close minded. © 2015 Jerusalem CricketAuthor's Note
