Observational Unimpressed

A Poem by Jerusalem Cricket

Sally Backfat sat back &
Watched wretched masses
From behind her rosy glasses
The world in a whirlwind
& a clash between the classes
She saw it as a sad fact
Then scratched out all the cracked out jackasses
Moving slow as molasses
Cashed out on the rashes sprinkled from Cambodia
All the way to Calabasas
Latched onto sinkholes that were imploding at the savages'
Sacrifice the self imposing citizen
You don't even notice how
Nice the fitting is
Truly magnificent
Who be the one to burn the bridge
&put beauty in maleficence
Terrific, the scabs proved prolific
Thru polluted black pacific
Placidly propagating sickness
Then blaming the witches
Which is in the wrong
Then what was in the right
Where do you keep the bombs
Who turned out the light
We the b******s
Demand some answers
Eating up free range organic cancers
Thinking too much of not enough
To rearrange the face of candor
Does it even matter
My guess, not, now my mind's scattered
from aggravating the average,
dunno how I've come to manage this long
I write the wrong semantics,
come across as hard to understand
and frantically manic all by happenstance,
and I have this horrible habit
of abandoning magic.

I love the beginning and the end is magical, the anger is cracking here. Too much injustice and we are surviving in the pig society.

The third work of yours I now have read.......I feel I am finally discovering a true writer on this site. I sense alot of true emotion translating to the written word, in a very sincere and style with a rythmn.

hell yea, a torrent of thoughts and observations combined with insights and emotion... this has a beat to it, a heartbeat rhythm of mindful revolution without the revolution, more the absurdity of it all...

oh, the last two lines.

"abandoning magic" is something I'll remember for the next little while.
