Aloft, and Exhausted

Aloft, and Exhausted

A Poem by Sola
"

Long plane rides take their toll.

"

The bathroom is small.

It hinders and constricts, a veritable anaconda of a space

But I am alone.

And it is quiet.

And I need not fret about the plane, for the air holds it well,

And I may urinate in peace

Before I reunite with the strangers aboard this vessel, and am expected to behave in the much more strangling confines of society.

~ ah... this is so well-expressed... and though you meant this about "long plane rides", i relate to this piece even more deeply... sometimes the "vessel" is life itself when it gets too crowded... and "the bathroom" is any time spent in solitude... hence, i'd say this piece of poetry has a lot of depth and applies to many realms of existence... ~ very interesting work...
