The morning after

The morning after

A Poem by Sol_Corvo

What happens to us after its all said and done?
Will you just pack up you s**t, tell me it was fun?
Cuz you're gonna leave eventually
Because soon you're gonna be free
At the very least you'll be without me
Cuz I'll still be here I'm trapped in a prison
Everyone looks on with what seems like xray vision
They see right through
And there's nothing I can do
Did you feel this way about your ex too?
When we're sobered up
When I'm not love drunk
Will you still tell me everything?
Because the morning after will be a helluva time
And I can't sum it up with but a few rhymes
Because the morning after our love drunk year
That's not gonna be full of cheer
Cuz I'd rather swing room the rafters
Than have you here now, and gone the morning after
