Who loves who?

Who loves who?

A Poem by Sol_Corvo

I always make things complicated
And I apologize
I jumped when I should have waited
And I didn't realize

That you didn't know how I felt
And I could say the same for me
But at your touch I'd melt
So I wear a mask and try not to flee
But feigned indifference left the welt
That not everything can be so carefree

I can't be special to you, you're too perfect
But you had one too many now you're drunk
And you said "I love you" and helped me to accept
That I myself was not a reject
But I've never been loved so how did you expect
The little punk, who's girl is drunk
To say?

I said it too late
There is no debate
But I can still make it right
Tell her she's beautiful
Dont be so youthful
Try not to fight

But I still love you
And I think you love me
Because it takes two
For us to be happy
